MCDS has been adopting an Integrated Group Action Process (GAP) approach in its community development work, and implementing this approach through Self-Help Group (SHGs) in local community. This involves a holistic and collaborative method where diverse stakeholders\u2014such as community members, local governments, NGOs, and other institutions\u2014work together to identify and address community needs while pursuing shared development goals. The process emphasizes inclusive participation, coordinated planning, and the integration of resources, knowledge, and efforts across sectors such as health, education, environment, and livelihoods. It fosters ownership, accountability, and sustainability by aligning interventions with local priorities and capacities. Ultimately, GAP strengthens social cohesion and ensures that development outcomes are both impactful and resilient over the long term.<\/span><\/p>\n
